Sandra Smith
The images of Canada, Scotland, Ireland and Wales have had a lasting impression on Sandra. All the built up years of images created in her mind are now coming to fruition. Her inspiration for art is taken from the magnitude and beauty of the mountains, valleys and lowlands she has witnessed and the bright-stored colours and patterns of wildlife and nature. She takes the colours and the very moment of nature in every picture she produces.
Born in Mid Wales, Sandra has settled in Llanidloes, where she owns ‘Llani Barbers’. At the rear is her studio. Sandra started painting in watercolour long ago, but more recently made the journey into oils when she inherited her father's extensive collection of paints. She continues to draw her inspiration from the Welsh and Scottish landscape.
